early one Friday morning

It's daybreak and we're cruising along Edsa on board a cab, my love beside me and holding my hand. Beatles singing over the radio:

There are places I remember
All my life though some have changed
Some forever, not for better
Some have gone and some remain
All these places have their moments
With lovers and friends I still can recall
Some are dead and some are living
In my life I've loved them all
But of all these friends and lovers
There is no one compares with you
And these memories lose their meaning
When I think of love as something new
Though I know I'll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I'll often stop and think about them
In my life I love you more

We're on our way to Loyola for a very important meeting.
We go down McDonald's Katipunan and eat breakfast, rediscovering such animals as longganisa, hashbrown, and pancakes. We move to Starbucks and burn our tongues sipping tea.

It's barely 7. Katipunan never looked more beautiful than today when it's not mine to roam as much as I used to.

I will, someday.

It was a great day.
